Sleepless in Seattle: Day 4 Actual Seattle

We started our adventure in Seattle at the Fremont Sunday Market!

I loved the furniture, so much good stuff that I wish I should ship back to the East Coast!
Especially that Coke-Cola table + chairs,
Also loved those sunglasses, will have to look for them at the Brooklyn Flea!

The market is also in a parking garage!

I loved this section of repurposed items

I had to get one of these crosses for our cross wall in the bathroom!
{pics to come Sunday!}

I also picked up this light switch cover,
I wanted one and was not sure I was going to spend the $10,
 but once I found this one with Rider University on it,
I knew I had to bring it home!
{I believe he has an etsy store but can't remember what it was called}

Next stop was the "Fremont Troll"
an art instillation piece under the bridge, so strange and awesome!

Next up: Public Market

This place was full of interesting stuff {+ people}

I loved these musicians outside of the 1st Starbucks,
they were so talented and made waiting in line entertaining and enjoyable

The only place you can still get the original naked mermaid Starbucks logo

Had to get a naked mermaid mug to drink my coffee in every morning!

This place was so organized and the people working were very helpful and nice

We ate at Emmett Watson's Oyster Bar to get some oysters of course!
I wanted oysters this whole trip because we import them on the East Coast from Seattle
so I wanted to get them at the source, pricy but pretty good!

Yes these are all for me...
Hilary also tried her first oyster! See her reaction here

One of my favorite parts of the Public Market was the bathroom details!
Perfect for the bio nerd that I am at heart!

One of my favorite parts at the market was all the flowers,
they were so beautiful!

But the seafood, THE SEAFOOD!
I need this in my town!

Huge fish!

MASSIVE lobster tails!

& the mushrooms,
I know I am in heaven!

We walked all the way down to see the famous Pike Place Fish Co.
{See them throw fish here}

I also had to pick up this "Sleepless in Seattle" sleep shirt,
I have been wearing it since we've been home and it is a definitely a favorite purchase from this trip!

While on the end by the Pike's Place, we had to check out "the gum wall"
Smells minty, sweet and honestly is pretty gross!

Time to head to The Space Needle

Selfie!
A little worm face to get the whole needle in
