Rhode Trip! {see what I did there?!} Packing & Day 1!

One of the highlights of my summer by far has been my road trip to Rhode Island  with my big sister from AXD Amanda to visit her biological sister Meagan!

So many activities! 

More packing! 

This time I packed outfit by outfit!

Day 1:

Had to pack my new-to-me Birks that I scored on Poshmark for $45!

Day 3:

So excited to wear this lipstick blouse from Ignition Clothing!

All packed in my salmon bag from Alaska from my honeymoon last year!

Time to hit the road! 

Getting there took about 4.5 hours, not too bad & no traffic on the way up!

Then it was time to explore for Day 1 in Rhode Island! We had breakfast at Julian's in Providence, I had the "Juicy Lucy" & it was DELICIOUS!  & the decor was awesome- especially the bathroom's action figures   {see my restaurant reviews on my Trip Advisor}

We did some exploring & spotted this HUGE Hello Kitty piñata 

& visited our first of many thrift/consignment shops!

We stopped by #InstantCity which is a Providence Polaroid Project where you take a good old fashion picture with a Polaroid and make a gallery!

I love this girl SO MUCH! She has always been there for me 

& I don't know where I would be without her!

Random- but I loved the light switch in the polaroid place!

We went shopping next door at Clover Providence,

I fell in love with this long tassel necklace! I wore it the rest of the time we were in Rhode Island! 

I also fell in love with the shop puppy! She was SO CUTE! 

I think a Brussels Griffon is now on my list of pups I want! {still love pugs though...}

These pictures were so interesting in the shop next to Clover,

We stopped for a coffee at The Coffee Exchange, 

I had an iced cappuccino that was so strong & good!

We did some thrifting at Nostalgia Providence, 

loved lots of things including this perfect floral flannel 

& texture pull map of clothing {wanted this but for $175 it was really not in the budget}

I did want/need a mirror for the newly renovated guest room & found two that I loved,

Went with the big mirror with gold detailing on each corner, so pretty!

This mural aquarium was the perfect place for outfit pictures!

We went to Wasabi for 1/2 price sushi, the private booths were so cool & the sushi was good!

We thrifted the hell out of RI! 

We scored some amazing things over the three days we were there! 

I love Savers thrift stores and we don't have any in NJ, so we hit up two over the three days!

I took home these three beauties at our first stop!

& stopped by the liquor store on the way home, 

Picked up a Sierra Nevada Beer Camp for the hubby!

Then we went back to home base... to hang out with this cutie! 

Luna the husky is such a pretty girl!
