Day 4: Shopping in Town on Saint Thomas

Shopping in Charlotte Amalie was one of the highlights of my trip, of course, 

since you know shopping is like my thing.

We boarded a ferry to take us across the island to "town"

What I Wore: glasses- c/o coastal, top- thecactusgirlshop on instagram, skort- Lord & Taylor, sandals- Target, bag- vintage {old giveaway win!}

Our first stop was the market,

my sister, Bianca, got this awesome mixed metal ring,

my other sister, Silvia, got this super cute swirly brass ring,

Then we stopped by this booth, where he was making these awesome bracelets,

As soon as I put one on I knew it was not coming off!

Also picked up this silver hook bracelet {read the story of the hook bracelet here}

My sister Bianca also picked up her own hook bracelet with a turquoise bead & her own twisted metal one from our friend above

We then went to lunch at Cuzzin's

It was the first restaurant that had an interesting island menu that I was expecting from more restaurants on the island,

I got the seafood platter with the conch, 

pretty good, hubby's full fish was very good. 

Apart from the food, the drinks were AMAZING!

Then back to shopping! 

We went to a super fancy jewelry store and mom tried on a $30,000 ring!

{girls can dream}

Then we explored an art gallery 

& a drink for the boat ride back at this awesome sugar skull bar, 

loved all the decor!

Really loved the crosses in the bathroom! 

Reminded me of home {see my crosses in my bathroom here}, 

they had some I would love to take home!

Our final stop was Sun n Sand Beachwear, mom got a couple of dresses, lots of cute stuff!

Boat ride home!

With Charlie's captain hat, Mark the boat operator let Charlie drive the boat!

& mom took a turn!

Then a beach BBQ, a beautiful sunset, and a fire dancer to end the night!

The end to a great day!
