teacher's {shopping} convention

I left Wednesday to attend the NJEA teacher's convention in Atlantic City,
to prep of course I did a little shopping!
I fell in love with this crib set up at pottery barn kids,
elephants will be a must in my future children's nursery.

I also fell in love with this sweater, measuring spoon set, and frog hair clip from Anthropology- but those prices are not exactly in my range these days...

But I did find the knobs I have been looking for at Anthropology- on sale for $3 each!
= perfect for these strange draws in my attic closet!

Then I had to hit up the Gap to see if they had the darker blue camo that I heard was on super sale...
didn't have my size, but I did take home this leopard striped top, green floral pants, and black polka dot pants all for $39 {skipped out on the polka dot top}

These great scores made packing really easy...

But right before I went to convention the hubby cut off part of his thumb...
my reaction- I made him a bloody finger

Wrapped him up and was off to Atlantic City!

& the preparation shopping made the first outfit of convention quite easy

What I Wore: glasses- Kensie, jacket- vintage, top & pants- Gap, belt- Black and Tan Leather, loafers- Rebecca Minkoff

We went to convention & attended a great presentation by Marcia Tate

We also walked around the exhibits searching out all the cool science stuff,

this robot "teq" was one of the coolest things we saw, you program him to do everything,
even dance to  Thriller!

Then we went shopping!
{aka my favorite part of convention}

1st stop was H&M
 I loved these pants {~$30} but didn't end up getting them

 Also loved this sweater {from men's section}
 but decided that I had too many fun vintage ones that I don't wear enough

& this shirt from the kids section is too perfect with glitter glasses & pink leopard print!

I did fall in love with this cardigan & two pairs of corduroy pants for $43- the pants were only $9 each!
Love the colors for fall!

Then it was Forever 21, & the one in Atlantic City was so nicely organized and had great stuff!
So much fun plaid, denim, and great detailing!

I picked up: 2 pairs of socks with eyeglasses print, pair of plaid flats {$8!}, eyeglasses & lips earrings, "What Ever" loafers, plaid sweatshirt {was only $10!}, pug print tank, & new phone case with glasses!
So much cute stuff!

I fell in love this this amazing red dress from the BCBG outlet!

Then we walked to New York & Co. since the teachers I was with wanted to check it out
{honestly a little bland for my taste...}

But I did love this sweater & mix of houndstooth print blouse!

 Ended up taking home these tank tops for $5 each, love the lace detail!
& these fun crystal box earrings!

& went to the Gap outlet!
Fell in love with these nude color blocked flats & found the perfect camel colored booties!
Granted I had to convince the employee to take them off a mannequin...
but they were my size so it was all worth it! Meant to be!

I also realized my Khol's cash is quickly expiring, so I had to run and pick up these emerald velvet big bow beauties from the Simply Vera Vera Wang line, for $13 they were worth the wait!
They will be absolutly perfect for every holiday party this year!

With all these deals,
HELLO ATLANTIC CITY!
 Glad to be back!
