Such a fungi

So a new thing that my husband {and now somehow I am involved in} is mushroom hunting,

excuse me "foraging"

don't get me wrong, 

I love the occasional walk in the woods, 

I am a biologist after all...

but he is much more into it than I am,

He is an environmental scientist after all...

We went on an excursion with my parents & sister a couple of weekends ago,

which started by finding this incredible caterpillar, 

one of the coolest bugs I have ever seen!

Now that is the cool part of Biology! 

What I Wore: glasses- Kensie, top- from Fungi Fair in Girdwood Alaska, pants & boots- Target 

We found lots of fungi!
