okay, anxiety and (lim)sanity on this Sunday: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

It is official.

I have a problem. 

I stayed up until 4 am to shop 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target as it was painstakingly released piece by piece over the wee hours of the morning.
Shopping by the hashtag #philliplimfortarget on twitter...
Seriously a social media experiment  

I had recruited my sister to come with me as my "wing girl" & I had been talking about it so much that I was giving my sister anxiety about possibly not being able to get the pieces I wanted. 

She literally asked me if I would cry if I didn't get the pieces I wanted. 

I said, "Probably not".
But there were some tears and screaming at my local target
by other ladies who were late to the game...

So I had no choice but to stay up and get as much as I could to alleviate some of the stress for this morning at the store.

My online scores: 

 1. / 2. / 3. / 4. / 5. / 6. / 7. / 8. / 9. / 10. / 11. 

I had to place 8 orders to get everything I wanted.

Seriously had to order piece by piece,

good thing I have a Target Red card so I could still get free shipping on each order.

I was so relieved to get confirmation emails, and then shipping notifications.

I will only be completely satisfied when they actually arrive...

I finally went to bed at 4 am, only to get up at 6am to try to score the last two bags on my list.

The ones that I wanted the most {as did everyone else...}

I was first in line at 7:10.

Pardon the lack of makeup, & nasty hair.

2 hours of sleep does that to people.

but it was all worth it...

What I Wore: glasses- BonLook, sweater- Old Navy, jacket- GAP, pants- H&M, flats- BDG from Urban Outfitters, bag- Michael Kors

a line did develop,
when the door finally opened the people working were like "No need to run"
I was like, "Girl you don't even know." 

And with in minutes the bags were gone!
People were crying, a woman was screaming...

But I got my hands on exactly what I wanted!

Got home at 9:15 am and slept until 2.
Showered & now rocking my winnings!

Almost everything is sold out {of course eBay is booming...},
 my lack of sleep last night / this morning was worth it!
I scored all the bags I wanted for a fraction of the cost of a 3.1 Phillip Lim bag!

Can't wait to cherish these pieces for years!
