the aftermath

When my sister woke up on Sunday the first words out of her mouth were,
"Well, last night was nothing short of LEGENDARY"
& boy was she right...

My sister {& my Maid of Honor} made "Hangover kits" for everyone!
& let me just say, I am still using the items in this bag days later!

It was a rough morning, & we were almost late to check out but my sister Silvia whipped us into shape!

I got ready & put my crown and sash back on!

What I Wore: glasses- Jean LaFont, necklace- BaubleBar, top- WD NY via Marshalls, dress warn as skirt here- H&M, shoes- Prabal Gurung for Target, bag- Michael Kors

It was a slightly cloudy day in NYC

Made brighter by our crossing guard friend that worked outside our hotel
& had the most beautiful Irish accent!

No sleep until 8/25,
you are correct MTV, because that is the day after my wedding!

I can't believe it is August already!

We got to try the dumpling food truck in Times Square!
So good!

We then ate at the Stardust Diner,
you know the one with the "singing waitstaff"
my advice?
AVOID at all costs, the food was terrible {like RAW meat terrible...} & the service sucked too!

After putting my friends back on the train, we walked around and shopped a little

I love the rent-a-bike stations that have popped up around the city!

& the street art!

I picked up a few pieces from a street vendor,
a picture for my sister & this awesome coke tin sign for my house!
{We love coke in glass bottles- as seen here & here. Guess that makes us hipsters}

It is perfect for our kitchen!

 I got to go to the Hello Kitty store
{I always have to stop by when I am in the city!}
& my sister made me a squished penny with a Hello Kitty!

Until next time NYC!
{which will be Monday because we are going to pick up our wedding rings!!}

The real aftermath of our NYC Bachelorette adventures
was what was left in my clutch by the end of the weekend...
receipts, an invite to a strip club on a boat {no thank you.}, a tattoo business card, a coaster from Eatly, 3 lipsticks, sanitizing wipes, a squished hello kitty penny, a shot glass, a noise maker, a clapping hand noise maker, and a picture of me with a drag queen.

If that doesn't scream a successful bachelorette weekend, I don't know what does.
