XXO 20 Years of Design for All @ Target!

Well this certainly crept up on me!
I feel like I should have gotten a newsletter notification or something...
Target brought back 20 designer collaborations today!

I would also love to check out this design book!

So many amazing brand resurrected from the fashion grave!

Here are a few of my favorites!

I love that lace number but this grey tweed spiky beauty was a surprise fave in store:

A little too busty:

The Zac Posen collections was GONE when I was in store:

I did find one of the Zac Posen dresses in store but it was sadly not my size,
but it is SO CUTE & well constructed:

I do love these heart bags!

I was interested in the bright colors of the Issac Mizrahi collection,
especially since this is not one I shopped when it originally came out:
I was also interested in shopping the Thakoon collection,
also also before my insane obsession with Target design collabs:

The t-shirt in both colors and the skirt from the Thakoon collection were my faves,
and the only ones that came home with me:
I figured I could mix match the patterns and get more wear out of them as separates!

The Missoni collection was pretty fully stocked in the front of the store:

Lots of Lilly Pulitzer too:

& Hunter bags:

I still love my 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target bags and my store was stocked!

Marimekko seemed to be pretty sold through in stores:

The kids clothes in the Harajuku Mini collection were so cute!

It was so interesting to see which collaborations they brought back
& what pieces they decided to rerelease,
I can't help but feel like the re-release was better stocked then the original releases
(especially with Missoni and Lilly)

Re-shopping the Missoni x Target collab this morning brought back some interesting memories,
I was lucky enough to get the pieces I really wanted the first time around
and continue to wear them on the regular!

What I Wore: glasses- Faniel Eyewear c/o 10/10 Optics, lips- Jordana "Honey" & MAC "Chatter-box", eyeshadow palette- Pinky Rose "Runway", earrings & necklace- Julie Vos, top- vintage military, cardigan- Missoni for Target, pants- Walmart, shoes- vintage

Happy Anniversary to Target & Happy Shopping!

two of my best thrifting finds in one outfit

Yes, I did give up shopping yesterday,
but I did warn you that there are some purchases to be shared previous to my freeze.

This incredible Missoni for Target sweater is one of those items,
I thirfted this at the good will for $3 {WHAT?!}
When I saw it I said to myself, "No way, is that? Can't be! Hell yes!"

I wore it the next day with another one of my amazing thrifting scores,
my Frye boots that I scored for $7 at a garage sale!

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Proopticals, scarf- Target, sweater- Missoni for Target {thrifted}, tee- free with credits from Open Sky, jeans- Levis, boots- vintage Frye {via garage sale}, bag- vintage Dooney & Bourke {via Tea and Tulips}

As Macklemore says {who really does thrift}, "I'm digging, I'm digging, I'm searching right through that luggage"
you never know what you are going to find!
At the Rescue Mission in Trenton this weekend I scored some awesome items!

including this peacock tray:
Such beautiful details!

Here are my other scores from my weekend before the great FREEZE:

I have a serious collection of cap toe flats,
these vintage ones will fit right in!
love the gold toe & heel!

The patterns on these flats could not be passed up in Forman Mills
& for $15 for both, it was a deal!

There were also some great furniture pieces that I was admiring:
No room for them,
yet...

I also scored these pillows a few weeks ago at the Goodwill:
for $3?!
yes please.

Any good scores this weekend?

my loss could be your gain!

I thifted this skirt a while ago and haven't been able to figure out how to wear it, turns out it is an under-the-boobs sorta deal.
Well I rocked it, and loved it. Now me and this skirt can be friends.
What I Wore: kinda paisley patterned cardigan- ? {don't remember where I got this, but it was a while ago...}, pink ruffle top- GAP, to-the-boobs high waisted skirt- thrifted Rescue Mission in Trenton, NJ- remember?, grey stockings- Betsey Johnson via Rue La La, nude flats- Sophiee- Steve Madden. Accessories: Warby Parker Sinclair in Midnight Blue

So speaking of skirts this is where "my loss could be your gain" comes into play:
Remember when I bought this skirt:
Well I said that I hoped it fit {size large}, and guess what it doesn't =(
So I have decided to join the millions who are selling Missoni for Target on ebay {only mine is at a reasonable price- starting at $30- retails for $39.99}
Check it out here =)
