running up that hill

Not to jump on the Kate Bush bandwagon,
since I am of the age where I had heard this song prior to its resurgence,
but its use in Stranger Things is perfection.

The memes are gold too:

This made me lol

Rewatching seasons 1-3 and watching season 4 of Stranger Things
inspired me to break out some vintage for this 80s outfit!

What I Wore: glasses- Lowercase NYC via The Eyeglass Lass, lips- Revlon "Rendezvous", earrings- Julie Vos, necklace- Kendra Scott, top- secondhand from my mom, shorts- vintage Levis via consignment store in Delaware, shoes- vintage gift from my mom

Since it is Wednesday, wanted to share more "What I'm Watching":
We also caught up with the latest season of The Umbrella Academy,
I was so curious how they were going to handle Elliot Page's transition in the show,
I thought that the way the addressed it head on
with multiple thoughtful conversations between the siblings was well written and executed.

I also watched "Lizzo's Watch Out For The Big GRRRLS" and enjoyed it!
I felt like it is what I was expecting:
fun, full of positivity and women empowering other women.

I don't feel like I learned anything or was surprised by anything from this show
since I lived it first hand.
Growing up in the 2000's at the Jersey Shore in a wealthy town, this was our reality.

This made me laugh though:

& the accuracy of this one...
😬
