Last Saturday of the month {well now Sunday}
= my June & July Humble Beauty Opinions!
A 2 for 1 to catch up on my monthly subscriptions, purchases, reviews, wishlists & empties!
As per usual lets start with my monthly subscription to Ipsy!
Since we are doing a double feature today,
1st up is June:
This month of Ipsy was a great one, especially with the add ons I bought!
Some highlights so far:
I have been especially loving the ACE Beauté Blushed Up in Peachy
{been using this for blush and eyeshadow! Such a great summer color}
Already know I love the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer
& the add on of Hermetica perfume "Peonypop" is such a pretty scent
Also bought some skin care from Ipsy this month too,
still have to try most of them
but I have used and already love the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat
I was so excited to see this product offered & for $12 when it is normally $22,
I've always wanted to try it! Now I get the hype, it is a great color!
See it on HERE
& July's Ipsy:
I am enjoying the Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum from this month,
although I wish the pump was better it kinda sprays out.
I am the most excited about the MACStack Mascara, I have wanted to try this since I saw @mikaylanogueira on Tik Tok talk about it in March.
I haven't tried it yet as I am almost done with my current one but I have high hopes for it!
I was a little annoyed that the price of an Ipsy bag is going up yet again,
now with shipping it is almost $15 a month.
I still think it is worth it especially since the brands have gotten more high end
🤷🏻♀️
Kinda sad that this is my last BumpBox,
& they went out with a bang!
I love the elephant bath towel, the nail brush and silicone bath sponges.
The lactation smoothie was pretty good too!
Some other purchases I made this month:
I saw this on Instagram and had to try it myself,
at first I wasn't that impressed with it
but I have used it a few times and I do like the way it applies my foundation,
I think I still prefer a beauty blender sponge but this is a nice alternative
I was so excited that my husband found the Trader Joe's Daily Facial Sunscreen
that is suppose to be a dupe for the Supergoop "Unseen Sunscreen"
according to _janetsui on TikTok,
I haven't tried it yet but I am excited!
My hubby also got me new candles!
I think that their candles have gotten better with their scent carry,
especially the Peach Black Tea!
If you look at my empties, I used a lot of them up
I have been loving dark nails this summer,
I ordered ILNP Eclipse chrome nail polish on Amazon,
Pictures & even videos don't do it justice
I also picked up a classic- OPI "Lincoln Park After Dark"
I have vivid memories of this nail polish when I was a teenager,
my sister and I were obsessed,
I can't believe I haven't had it in my collection until now
This post from OPI is the epitome of the hold that this polish had:

Got some goodies on my monthly makeup wishlist!
Speaking of nail polish Lights Lacquer has had a couple releases lately that are super cute!
The summer collection "Fun House" is cute!

I especially love "We Go Together" & "Big Fish",
might pick up this "Cotton Candy" duo...
**spoiler alert** I did
{swatches: @pop_polished 🔛 Instagram}
& then they released the "Oh Snap!" trio:

Love this mani from @thecolornook 🔛 Instagram:
YNBB {your nails but better} Volume II was also just released,
I don't think I'll pick any of these up

Speaking of Kathleen Lights, the brains behind Lights Lacquer
has a new collab coming out with Il Makiage and I am exciteddddd!
Usually I purchase any eyeshadow palettes that Kathleen Lights collabs on
because they are SO GOOD.
They usually become one of my favorites in my collection,
TBD on this one but it looks really pretty!

I am fascinated by the shade "Fairy Fire" from Devinah Cosmetics,
as seen on their Tik Tok, this shifts into like 4 colors!
I am also intrigued by these colored mascaras from Sunset Makeup
as seen on thegabriellealvarez on Tik Tok:
I love anything with a red/brown duo chrome {especially eyeshadow}
and this Frost Lipstick in "Spanish Fly" from MAC looks so cool!
I think it may now be discontinued, damn it, should have purchased it when I had the chance
😢
I am also thinking about picking up a new Fluide lip gloss in "Elsewhere",
Got this in an Ipsy and have almost used up the whole sample,
I just love the formula and the cool toned look to this gloss
This month's empties, what I used up, loved, hated
& all my humble opinions in between:
bath: Beauty 360 Jumbo Cotton Balls from CVS- these are my favorite, perfect size for taking off eye makeup and applying toner | Dove "Sensitive Skin" x2- these are a good classic moisturizing creme bar soap | Sol de Janeiro Hair Repair Treatment- I really enjoyed this, smells amazing and leaves me hair nice and soft | Christophe Robin "Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt"- I like this when I feel like I have a lot of built up products on my scalp, surprisingly good lather with this scrub too | Aveda "Shampure"- I did not really like this, smells a lot and not in a good way and it lingers, left my hair moisturized but not enough to deal with the scent | Bronze Goddess Body Salt Scrub from Estée Lauder- I enjoyed this, it lasted forever, left my skin nice and shiny but also left the tub very slippery | Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy "Stress Relief"- this was a gift from my sister, it's so nice, bubbles nicely and smells wonderful | the coffee scrub in "Mocha"- I really enjoy these products, they leave my skin nice and exfoliated and smell wonderful but I do not like the packaging of these samples, they are so hard to use without making a huge mess | Revlon "34 Deep Burgundy" x2- these are my go to hair colors | up & up "timeless white whitening strips"- I think that these work just as well as others and are cheaper, my teeth do sometimes hurt/are sensitive after use but that always happens with whitening strips | Colgate "Optic White Renewal"- my mom swears by this and got it for us and I think it does help! | Got two new heads for our Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes and woah what an upgrade, I do like these toothbrushes and they were recommended by my dentist | essenHERB "Black Tea Peeling Gel"- I enjoyed this although I am not sure it did much | Verso Facial Cleanser- initially I liked this but it is pretty scented and sometimes hurt around my eyes | Trader Joe's Berry Lip Mask- I think I got this in a holiday set and I loved it | Trader Jacques "French Liquid Soap"- I love this, smells so luxe, it is a favorite!
beauty: Jergens "Ultra Healing"- this is apparently my signature scent according to my sister Silvia, I though that was so funny, I have used this for yearssss now | Bio-Oil Skincare Oil- I used this for stretch marks, I liked it but it is kinda messy to use and takes a while to dry before you get dressed | Almay Sensitive Skin deodorant- a good basic | Trader Joe's Grapefruit Body Butter- this is just too thick and smelly, not my favorite, I prefer the coconut one | akar soothe face oil- I enjoyed this, I've been getting very into skin care since makeup is not a huge priority these days | Maybelline Color Whisper "Petal Rebel"- Can't believe I used this all up, I enjoyed how easy and pretty this pink was | Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme +- I enjoyed this, especially the cooling metal tip but I think I might be getting a reaction to it in my under eye lately | mama mio pregnancy boob tube- I liked this but not sure it did much, I prefer my Lansinoh Organic Nipple Cream
candles: Honeysuckle Trellis from Lidl- I loved this! I love the scent of honeysuckles they are one of my favorites | Island Breeze from Lidl- this was just okay beachy scents and not my favorite | Peach Black Tea from Trader Joe's x2- I loved this scent! | Peony Blossom from Trader Joes- this is one of my favorite candles we've gotten, smells so fresh and beautiful | Mango Tangerine from Trader Joes- loved this fresh sweet citrus scent!
This month I also watched the "Not So Pretty" documentary on HBOmax
and it was pretty terrifying.
It really exposes how there is little to no regulation 😬
