On Day 1 of Vision Expo East I was excited for a tour of the Javits Center!

The Javits Center is so huge and I love the architecture:
Our first stop on the Press Tour was Zeiss to hear about their new lenses
with complete UV blockage, they had this cool handheld tech
that showed you the protection of your lenses
& if they were complete UV protection your lenses show up as sunglasses on the screen,
it was so cool!
Our next stop was Article One to hear about their collection and see some new products,
this booth was so cool with the accordion paper that added color and texture with a 70s vibe,
they ended up winning "Most Creative Booth Design", well deserved!
Our next stop was EnChroma and we heard about their technology
for helping people who have color blindness see color with their lenses!
So cool!
Our next stop was Liberty Sport to see how their Rec Specs hold up under some extreme sports,
I loved their new kids line that really is kid proof,
they twisted and bent those frames and they held up!
Our next stop was Specsy to see some 3D printed eyewear,
I love the idea of complete customization!
Fell in love with these neon fun frames!
Yes please!
Next stop was to see Fitting Box to see their technology for trying frames on your face online before purchasing, this technology has come so far!
Next stop was Shamir to learn about their Autograph Intelligence lenses for aging eye needs:
Our next stop was Luxexcel to learn about their 3D printing droplet technology that builds lenses:
Our next and final stop on the press tour was Eschenbach to see their magnifying products,
they also were giving a service dog to a blind person later in the day!
After the tour I had a date with Lafont to see more of their new collection!
Lafont is always a highlight of Vision Expo!
I love these round panther frames!
Lafont aways has such an amazing display!
SO MANY AMAZING FRAMES IN THIS COLLECTION!
I love all of them!
I love all these new leopards!
The pair that I loved from the Vision Council x Eyecessorize even is still a favorite!
& still love this limited edition collection!
Just SO PRETTY!
I mean... rock star status.
I love the color combo and pattern of these!
My next stop was to say hi to one of my favorites Faniel Eyewear!
Needless to say... I want them all!!
& I am not the only one- Faniel Eyewear won 2nd place for best product!
Before leaving I was stopped in my tracks by these sparkly glasses and fun colors from VonBogen
So excited to be "Press" this year!
What I Wore: glasses- Faniel Eyewear, lips- theBalm "Committed" via Ipsy, necklace- Hunt & Orchard, tank {under}- Anthropologie, dress- BCBG, stockings- Nicole Miller, booties- Nine West x Pamela Love {via kellyartz on Poshmark}, tote- new from Lafont!
Had to cut my Vision Expo short because I have had a crazy busy week,
until next year!
But I did get to check out the Hudson Yards Vessel!
I want to go up this thing when it gets warmer!
Love the mosaic at this subway station!
A perfect day in NYC!
