A little NYC surprise for my Mom's B-day!

My dad surprised my mom with a weekend trip to NYC for the weekend of her birthday,

and they looked like they were having lots of fun!

Little did Mom know that the fun was just starting
 because we all commuted in to surprise her & celebrate!

Rocked a vintage dress & leather jacket for the trip!

I asked my sister Audrey if she got any pictures of mom walking in for the surprise

 and she send me these...

More like an abstract painting than a photograph:

She said "wow I am a great photographer" 

and I said, "Yeah... can I hire you for my next event?"

I mean if you zoom in and don't look at the streaks of light, 

you can see the surprise!

We headed to dinner in Koreatown at Jongro BBQ,

 we tried to make reservations but they said we had to check in the day of 

and the wait shouldn't be  more than a 1/2 hour but when we got there the wait was 2 hours,

we waited it out and were clearly excited to finally go upstairs to eat!

When the doors open to the 2nd floor restaurant it almost feels like you are in an Asian country

I got this huge margarita with a coors light...

very sweet and a little weird with the beer, not sure I would recommend.
