I was looking forward to a date day with my hubby on Sunday
that was full of bent spoon ice cream, errands and finally getting our Christmas tree.
Not as romantic as I thought it would be after it started raining,
was freezing and we were completely unprepared.
But at least my hubby is a cutie.
& I still convinced him to take my outfit pic in the rain!
He is the real MVP.

We got our tree,
she is a little skinny but she is perfect!
& decorated our mantel!

Although I like how our holiday decor is this year,
there are a few pieces on my wishlist!
1. I want to start a little collection of these brush trees as seen on thatlittlequeenie on Instagram
2. I love these little pumpkin face ornaments as seen on eelmonkeyart on Instagram,
still want one of their Krampus dolls too!
3. This little snowman and Santa are too cute from the Target dollar spot,
as seen on mrsannawharton's Instagram Story
4. Love this plaid runner from JCPenney would be nice for the dining table, coffee table, or fireplace mantel! Similar here since that one looks like it is sold out.
5. Still want one of these "Letters To Santa" boxes for the mantel from the Hearth & Hand with Magnollia collection at Target

a little brutal but true!
