Wedding Wednesday Refresh!

Wow!
Haven't had a wedding related post in a while,
we've been married 2 years already!
Time flies!

My family got together in NY to celebrate my cousin Jaclene getting married to John!

I loved my eye make up that I did to match my dress!
I went with J.Cat Beauty "Half Naked" on the lid, Milani "Mandarin" in the crease,
& NARS "Persia" on the outer corner {I love this shadow!}

Paired with Rimmel "In Love with Ginger" lipstick & my button earrings from Hilary's Cutie Crafts
= perfection!

My eyes matched the sunset as we pulled up to the Glen Island Harbour Club venue,
breathtaking!

What I Wore: glasses- Steve Madden, lips- Rimmel "In Love with Ginger", earrings- c/o Hilary's Cutie Crafts , dress- Flying Tomatoes {bought in Delaware on our DogFish Trip}, lace cardigan- LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls, flats- Target, bag- vintage from my Zia

They also had a perfect selfie mirror in the bathroom!
I love the colors of this dress!

I just can't get over how beautiful this venue is!

I had lots of fun with my family!

Me + my cousin Sabrina

Me + my sisters Audrey & Bianca

We stayed at the Radisson down the block
& I loved the natural decor with the acrylic elements,
exactly what I was talking about in yesterday's post!

Had breakfast at the New Rochelle Diner and had an awesome apple turnover!

Had a nice breakfast with my sisters, hubby, future brother-in-law, & my mom

I love my family,
a great celebration!

Upon talking to my cousin about the sad realization
that you only get to wear your wedding dress for one night,
I began thinking about what I should do with my wedding dress.

I absolutely loved my wedding dress:

& would like a way to store/view the dress,
so naturally I consulted Pinterest for some ideas:

I originally saw this picture and fell in love with this display:

This article has other great ideas for your wedding dress.
I also liked this idea to have your dress sketched:
 Etsy Shop: DrawTheDress

This framing company is in NJ, so this may be a possibility!

I think above the bed is cute too,
but in my bedroom, I love my city scape metal sculpture...

I am not sure I want to "box up" my dress, but this is the most accessible way to display the dress,
the reviews are mixed and I am not sure about it...

What do you think?
Would you frame your wedding dress after the day?
I think it would be pretty in my attic closet!
