1⃣ I am the oldest of 4 girls & my sisters are my best friends.
2⃣ I met my husband in college in animal biology class at Rider University in NJ
3⃣ the first time we spoke I said "I like your hair cut" and he looked at me the rest of the class.
4⃣ the next time we interacted was to demonstrate frog sex in front of the whole room. No penetration. Laying eggs and fertilizing.
5⃣ we've been married a year and a half {this picture is from our first dance- "Once In A Lifetime" by Talking Heads} together for almost 8 years and I love him more and more each day.
6⃣ I have a bachelors in biology and a masters in teaching- both from Rider University
7⃣ I am a sister of Alpha Xi Delta & founded a TOMS club in college where students got free TOMS shoes! We ordered over 300 pairs each time we had the event (900 all together!)
8⃣ sometimes I love my job, sometimes I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to teach
9⃣ my mom is also a teacher. We share the same struggles.
1⃣0⃣ my dad is a doctor, I am a mix of the two with teaching and biological science
1⃣1⃣ my favorite part of my day is coming home to my fur family
1⃣2⃣ we have two dogs and a cat
1⃣3⃣ yes, my animals are named after the periodic table: Barry = barium / Maggie = magnesium / Arnold = arsenic
1⃣4⃣ I have always wanted a red beetle & now I drive my dream car
1⃣5⃣ I love blogging & look forward to it every day.
1⃣6⃣ I've been blogging for over 4 years and I started when I was substitute teaching, as a creative outlet
1⃣7⃣ I am so close to attending @txsc in Austin, TX just need a reasonable flight
1⃣8⃣ my closet is the entire attic of our house and is my happy place- post coming soon with decor updates!
1⃣9⃣ I hope to own a brick and mortar vintage store one day
2⃣0⃣ I want to have 2-4 kids, and we are trying to figure out when is the best time to start our human family
