das boot.

Well this day started off as nice as ever,
walking around some historical government buildings in our state capital Trenton, NJ:

 When I saw this World War II memorial I said "I bet John Basilone is on there"
and sure enough he was!

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Lafont, lips- Neutrogena "Radient Rose", necklace- Tiffany & Co, top- Thakoon x Target, jacket- Forever 21, pants- Anthropologie, loafers- Gucci, bag- Dooney & Bourke

Today's Julie Vos ring bling:
{mani is OPI "It's a Piazza Cake"}

We even went out to lunch at the super cute Cafe128:

But then we went to the foot doctor...
shortly before my 31st birthday I started getting some pain in my right foot,
it got worse and worse and I couldn't do it anymore so I caved and went to the doctor.

& it was my worst case scenario,
a pretty serious stress fracture in my second toe...
the doctor said "you have been commuting into NYC for a month on a broken foot"
whomp. whomp.

I was prescribed a boot to stop the foot from bending and heal the fracture...
get ready for das boot life because it is going to be on for A LONG TIME.

Clearly I am displeased.

But Charlie took me to one of my favorite ice cream places TK's to get some pumpkin soft serve
to lessen the pain both physically and emotionally.

But if Billie Eilish can make a boot fashion,
I guess I can too???

I mean I agreed with this old post from @lipstickandlace91 on Instagram
{now @mrsannawharton}
but I did not know the boot would be a medical one...
