A story about shoes

In my going on vacation wish/shopping list, 

I explained that I have been wanting Birkenstock shoes since middle school 

but never pulled the trigger

When I saw these silver Sam & Libby for Target Birk look-a-likes, I knew I needed them! 

{also ordered the black ones too!}

The woman in the store saw the silver shoes when I was purchasing them 

& said "I am so mad at you"

I said "Why?" & she said, "Everyone has been trying those shoes on and they don't fit!"

I said, "And they are sold out online too! I can't believe you have the silver in store"

She said, "That is the only pair"

SCORE! 

When I got home I was already wearing them & the hubby said, "Are those new?"

& I explained the above story and he paused for like 10 minutes and said "I don't really like them"

I think he was surprised when I said "You are not suppose to"

But I love them!

What I Wore: glasses- Kensie, necklaces- gift from student, dress- trashyvintage, bag- vintage Dooney & Bourke {gift for my Masters from my Little Dara from my sorority}  

We went to the Vault in Yardley, PA 

& had their Coffee Stout- I normally am not a coffee beer fan but this was delicious!

& finally picked up this piece from Nicolet Schenck!

It has been on my wish list for about 6 months now! 

It is perfect in our entry way!

The house print is from MsSpanner on etsy! {LOVE her work!}

& went to The Bent Spoon in Princeton, NJ for some basil ice cream =)

Welcome to Humble Beauty Opinion #8, 

here are some recent purchases & reviews!

I got LOTS of good stuff at Ulta, I am LOVING the Too Faced Pink Leopard Blushing Bronzer 

& the Chocolate Bar is To.Die.For, smells like chocolate, tastes sweet & is amazing quality!

Also excited to try a Debra Lippmann polish & the Tarte palette everyone is talking about!

I LOVE this Lorac Pocket Pro from Kohl's for $14 it is incredible!

These Real Techniques brushes are also nice too!

I also picked up this letter holder from Staples & it is the new way my palettes are stored and I love how it looks!

Picked up more Sally Beauty shadows,

this is more of a neutral palette, for under $1 each + a $5 off coupon I had to stock up!

I have also been loving this Physicians Formula eye brighter for the inner corner of my eye looks

and this Loreal infallible eye shadow in "Amber Rush" is one of my all time faves!

I love the Jergens self tanning lotion & this one has SPF in it so it is perfect for vacation, 

I am not impressed with this Cover Girl blush, I am happy I got it for 50% off-- but I am not sure it is even worth that price, not very pigmented.

I also finally found this Loreal Hip Duo in Electrified at Walgreens while visiting my sister,

Not sure if it is worth the hype... but it is nice.

Another hyped product that I wanted to pick up and try is the Maybelline Baby Skin "Pore Eraser",

I have heard it may be like Benefits "Porefessional" but I don't think it is at all,

I guess I will use it because it is a way cheaper version but I think it is worth getting the Benefit one,

I've been wanting to try this dry shampoo for a while & with my Anthro employee discount valid at Urban Outfitters I thought it was a good time to finally pick it up!

I finally got the OPI Coke collection! 

Can't wait to use that green color! 

I always look forward to Ipsy every month & this month was no exception, 

enjoying the bareMinerals shadow!

Also redeemed points for the bareMinerals lipstick in "Light It Up" which is bright & pretty!

My last PinchMe box arrived!

I am loving the eye cream!

Next PinchMe is August 19th at 12:00 EST Get on it!  I also wanted to share some of my empty products this month to give a little review on things I have used up and if I would repurchase them: 

Bath: Barefoot scrub from Ipsy- I enjoyed this while it lasted probably wouldn't purchase, Coconut handmade scrub from my Grandlittle Courtney's baby shower- smelled so good and left legs soft, Bodycology cupcake body wash- love this smell, Dove oxygen shampoo and conditioner from PinchMe box- LOVE this, will be purchasing! Redken color extender shampoo and conditioner- great for red hair, maybe will repurchase, LAFresh Face Cleanser- from Ipsy, didn't do anything, Cetaphil- nice and gentle cleanser used to use this a lot will probably get another small bottle, Lush "Love Lettuce" face mask- I am not a huge face mask girl but this was fun to play with, Lush "Big Shampoo" sample- not a huge fan couldn't get it to suds up enough, Lush "Ocean Salt" scrub sample- hubby loved this stuff, I thought it was okay, he wants a full size lol, Gummy vitamins- love these!, Loreal conditioner from hair dye- this stuff smelled really strange, can't put my finger on it, almost like a seafood smell?

Makeup: Dove Energy Glow- love this stuff! Bare Bronze by Victoria's Secret- great bronzer & I like the scent to it, Jergens Natural Glow- always a fave!, Oscar Blandi Protein Mist- I liked this stuff not sure if it did anything though, Sally Hansen Moisturizing Nail Polish remover- eh, just okay, Lush- "Hello Gorgeous" face moisturizer- made by angels, that must be why it is like $80+ a bottle {may save for it, it is that good}, Avon MEGA effects mascara- loved this, applicator is a little weird but I liked it a lot, not better than Too Faced "Better Than Sex" though, Pixi Lash Booster Mascara- eh, from Ipsy & not great, Too faced "Shadow Insurance"- I loved this & this sample lasted forever, I am trying out Urban Decays version and will decide which one to purchase. Benefits "It's Potent" eye cream sample- eh, not sure this does anything, Delectable hand cream in strawberry & cream- hubby hated this smell but I enjoyed it, Suave natural infusion oil- pretty nice, enjoyed how it made my hair look! What do you think of the inclusion of my empties?  I love these videos on youtube and wanted to try it out on the blog, let me know! Hello all! 

As you are reading this my bottom is going to be on an airplane to St. Thomas with my family! 

We are staying at the Marriott Frenchman's Cove, it looks so pretty, I can't wait!

I wanted to share some of the chaos that is packing...
