Recap of the midweek 4th

We headed to Oak Tree Lodge for some midweek 4th of July celebrations 

to keep up with the tradition! 

Barry loves me, I promise.

So happy that Holly came to visit for her first 4th of July in the USA,

had to make her a red, white & blue star belt to give her some patriotism:

We had to take occasional breaks in the walk-in freezer to cool off...

I also got to try the Not Your Father's Mountain Ale,

tastes just like Mountain Dew, needless to say I loved it because I love Mountain Dew

Although I didn't get to see any fireworks yet this year,

Been gearing up for the 4th!

I have wanted this Universal Thread top since April 

& even blogged about it in a Shopping Cart Saturday post.

& this American flag top has been on my wishlist 

& saved as a screen shot on my phone for MONTHS if not a year... 

I got both from sharkiescloset on Instagram in a 2 for $20 sale! 

{one of my favorite Instagram shops BTW}

The Universal Thread top still had tags! What an amazing deal! 

I will be wearing that flag top for our 4th of July party-

I don't know about you but it has been a weird week with the 4th right in the middle, 

we started the week's celebrations off right at Neshaminy Creek Brewing

I had the "Time & Temperature" DIPA & "Bastard of Disguise" DIPA 6th Anni Beer,

 both were so good! 

My sister had the "Keep in on the DL" Session IPA with passionfruit on cask which was tasty too! 

Hoping to make it to the next Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market on August 11th at NCBC!

I am obsessed with this poster design:

So we have been prepping for the 4th of July for half a week now...

the only thing that would make all my festive dressing better
