around town in VT

Part 2 of my road trip recap is around town in Vermont. 

Of course we started with a little breakfast at the B&B

beautiful room!

and a cappuccino,

Then we did a little shopping, eating, and taking in of the beautiful mountains all around!

Our first adventure was to investigate a rock quarry,

it was so pretty!

traded in the boots for my Le bunny bleu flats for around town with my Jason Wu for Target floral bag!

Walked around town and did a little wishing/admiring/shopping:

Loved these three pieces, wish they could have come home with us!

Did pick up a few things:
Vintage Store: vintage American flag {$4}- can't wait to hang this baby!, flower candle stick holder {$4}, vintage shoe horns {$6}
Outlets: Michael Kors sweater {$30}
Consignment Store: boat print skirt {$18}, blue denim shirt {$9}- wearing in an upcoming post!

The fiancé also took home this AMAZING Llbean jacket. 

I love it on him!

We did a little off roading into the mountains to see a sugar house makin' maple syrup 

Took a nice squinty face picture!

Seriously beautiful!

Then we went to relax in the hotel:

The first night we ate at Dorset Inn B&B,
the second night we ate at Mio Bistro down the road from the B&B

LOVED the sesame incrusted scallops! 

Such a great trip!

Vermont Road Trip {recap}

It was hard to leave this little guy, 

he sat in Daddy's suitcase to try to sneak on our trip, 

adorable!

Even though we missed them, we had to much fun on our road trip to Vermont this weekend!

Only about 5 hours to escape to the mountains!

On the way up we stopped by my grandparents to say Hello!

I am eyeglass twins with my Nonno! 

 & had some of Nonna's famous yellow bread!

As Jersey people, we had some problems pumping gas...

& I eventually convinced the fiancé to take my outfit picture on the side of the road!

pasquetta

In Italian Pasquetta means "little Easter" 

where you get together with your friends to have a picnic and celebrate together. 

I will be celebrating mine with my fiancé and puppies!

We got back from Vermont yesterday and had such a wonderful time {but missed the puppies!}

Over the next few days I will be doing a trip recap!

But today we celebrate with bunny flats!

These Le bunny bleu flats came just in time!
I wore them all weekend for Easter!

{so much so that I did end up getting the pink too...}

Such a fun color, not too flashy!

The fiancé made pancakes this morning to try out our new Vermont maple syrup,

I am so lucky, 

I practically live in a Bed & Breakfast!
