Staycation 2020 :: LBI!

In leu of going to the Bahamas for a family vacay 

this year we had a little staycation trip to LBI.

It was only two nights but this was definitely me:

Had to break out my vintage beachy tank for the road trip!

What I Wore: hat- gift from my mother-in-law, glasses- c/o Firmoo, earrings- Kate Spade {gift from my sister Bianca}, necklace- Julie Vos, tank- vintage, shorts- Gap, sandals- target, bag- Rebecca Minkoff

We drove through quite a storm and finally arrived at The Island Guest House,

a quaint B&B a couple blocks from the beach

 But after the storm there was a beautiful rainbow

We got some take out wings from the one and only The Chicken or the Egg,

the bee sting is my fave! 

We headed to to drinks at the new Hotel LBI,

a brand new hotel at the bottom of the bridge. 

We just had drinks at the roof top 

and honestly they were some of the worst drinks I've had at a bar, 

I had a spicy margarita ($13 mind you) and it was so watered down it was like melted ice water.

As a brand new hotel/restaurant/bar, you would expect it to be delicious to hook you in!

Quite the opposite, 

we cancelled dinner reservations because the drinks were that bad.

For dinner we went to The Beach House Restaurant. 

I had the pistachio scallops & they were amazing!

Would recommend!
