Search and you shall find!

This morning I ordered the last component of my ISO list from the Lilly + Target collection!
I got all the pieces I missed through various instagram sellers, all for decent prices too!

This giraffe dress was one I missed out on, when talking about the collection with one of my students that I saw at the release, she was like "Oh my mom got two of those and has one to return"
I was like "OMG CAN I BUY IT FROM YOU?!"

These shift dresses are so well made and flattering, I love it & am happy to own the giraffe dress!

What I Wore: glasses- Rivet & Sway, lips- Lilly + Target Loreal lip gloss in "Coral Encore", necklace- Kate Spade {gift from sister}, dress- Lilly Pultizer + Target, cardigan & flats- thrifted

It is all in the details, the pineapple zippers are amazing on these dresses!

So happy to complete my collection!

"You are rocking those pineapples girl"

- younger sister of one of my students from parent/teacher conferences!

A few other quotes that I needed to jot down:
"I wish I looked more like my daughter, so I could sneak in and take your class"
"I want to thank you for helping my son like science again"
"My daughter speaks very highly of you, very frequently"
"You are one of my favorite teachers and you actually make me like learning"

Teaching certainly has its ups and downs
& things that I am not ready to discuss here yet,
but I felt the need to write down some positive things
in a time where I am surrounded by a TON of negativity

The flowers need the rain to bloom, after all...

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Coastal, lips- Clinique "Ginger Flower", necklace- JCrew via TaylorLawren on PoshMark, top & flats- Old Navy, tank {under} & pants- Anthropologie

Sunday Shopping: A boutique out of your home?!

I was so excited to check out the Sweet Repeats Spring Event,
this was incredible & inspiring!
Running a boutique from your house?!
Such a cool idea!
& we went on the 50% off day!

I picked up these amazing faucet earrings for my sister for $1.50
& this striped top with a woven gold collar for $7
Also got a pair of koi fish earrings too!
All for $10!

Other Sunday Shopping Recaps:

I fell in love with this JCrew necklace from TaylorLawren on PoshMark
It is different and I love it!

I also can't say no to lipstick print...
This sweater from FancyInFreckles on instagram is too cute!

I also stopped my Michaels to see some options for shelving,
they have such cute decor stuff these days!

Knowing that short season is coming and they were all hung at the end of my long rack in the attic,
it was too hard to see and find anything I was looking for.
I was happy with the way that these two crates work as shelves!
So much cleaner, more organized, and easier to find!

Love how it came out!
I love making the attic closet look like a little boutique!

Any organizational tips?
I find that it is trial and error for displaying things
so that you don't get the "out of sight out of mind" mentality

What have you been shopping for lately?

Humble Beauty #17

This month I finally got a few items off my Wish/Shopping List!

I was so excited to finally get my NARS "Ita" brush from The Makeup Bin on Instagram!
About $20 cheeper and I have been loving it!
Using it everyday as a quick, accurate contour!

I was so excited to finally order the Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette by Morphe Brushes,
They are not suppose to ship until the end of April, but apparently some may be coming early!
**Fingers crossed!**
I will probably do a review next month when it arrives!

When I got home from TxSc I knew I wanted to finally get the benefit Dallas blush,
since it was not in the benefit vending machine in the Austin airport...
I heard that it was going to be discontinued!
I have been enjoying it a lot, it is highly fragranced with a sweet smell though...

I love how you can always add up free samples with Sephora orders,
I mainly went with the Marc Jacobs Fragrances,
I have been enjoying them but not as much as I thought I would...

I added the NEST fragrance which I really wanted to try {also a reason for the Dallas blush order...}
I have also been loving the Make Up For Ever "Correcting Primer" sample,
it is green to correct redness and I like the way it smells

I did a little CVS Shopping,
I have been compacting coupons and saving Extra Bucks, I got this makeup brush that I have been using daily and really enjoying, very soft {retails $18, I got it for $3 with a series of coupons!}
I want the powder brush but they always seem to be sold out...

An impulse buy was this Wet & Wild palette in "Smoke and Melrose"
I was really attracted to the colors in this palette, and the mix of shimmers and mattes,
I am loving it!
Wet & Wild are my favorite eye shadows & I own quite a lot these days

I have also been enjoying this CVS brand self tanner lotion,
it does not smell like the Jergens one it creates a much more enjoyable experience...

This month's ipsy bag was AWESOME!
Product Reviews:
I love the actual bag and will be using it as a clutch this summer!
The polish is super bright and pretty, I have a few similar colors though
I like the MICA eye shadow base but it does crease
I LOVE the Balm Nude Dude Mini Shadow, I want that palette even more now!
I have the NudeTude & I love it! Very underrated palette.
I like the blush but I need a new Z palette to put it into, a little powdery though
& the chapstick is nice but smells a little weird

I have also been using this Nailtiques "Formula 2" protein base coat that my Zia (Aunt) gave me!
After a few gel manis my nails needs some TLC...

This month's empties:

Bath: Trader Joe's Coconut Body Butter- LOVE this stuff, have a few backups, smells like vacation / LumaLight "Weathered Driftwood & Peppered Cedar"- I love this, not as good as the Target candle that I loved from the fall but I would repurchase / Anthropologie "Sage Blossom" Candle- bought when I worked there, I liked it but not my fave / Dove "Advanced Care" deodorant this was send to me by Dove, I enjoyed it as far as deodorant is concerned / Nivea "In Shower Body Lotion" I got this sample from my last Walmart beauty box, I used it up and had already previously purchases a bottle, jury is still out on this product

Beauty: "Powder" brush- I have no idea where this is from I think Elf? Either way it is scratchy and sheds, so goodbye / Jergens "National Glow" left over from last year, used up and like said above I have been enjoying the CVS brand / Not Your Mother's "Beach Babe" spray- I like this stuff, one of my faves, smells nice and my sister loves it too / Sonia Kashuk white brush- also very old and sheds A LOT, bye

What products have you been loving / using up?
Please share!
