Sunday Shopping! & wearing the goods!

It has been fun finding the perfect spots for all the amazing goods I picked up during my Rhode Trip!

Another exciting thing around these parts is our new TV!
We have had the same small TV since Charlie's dorm room, & this is the first TV I have ever owned!

The dogs were not impressed...

The hubby hard at work to mount it on the fireplace!

definitely an upgrade!
Now we have to work on hiding the cords...

I also picked up some other items this week,
I love this necklace from BaubleBar for a while & when it was the buried bauble & on sale for $15 I finally added it to my collection, the neon rope sold me!

I also redeemed some points from Chictopia for this simple, yet very pretty necklace!
Perfect for a day when the outfit makes the statement already and you need a little extra shine!

One of the last items that I bought from Antropologie before I had to quit for the school year is this beautiful floral cut out blouse!

I was also excited to receive my new Zenni Optical polka dot glasses!
My favorite part is the option to inscribe them, the inside of mine say "behindglasses" 8)

What I Wore: glasses- Zenni Optical, lips- MAC "Chatterbox", top & pants- Anthropologie, flats- Target

Happy Sunday Shopping!

Humble Beauty #9- Back to School Basics & New Products!

The beauty portion of my attic closet is always changing!
<the overview>

I was so excited to add the perfect filing cabinet for only $4 at goodwill
{with the perfect amount of rust}!
It fits under the silver table and add extra storage!

I decided to move most of my nail polish into the filing cabinet
since they are not something I use every day,

In their place I scored this amazing leopard organizer for $6 at Ross,
perfect amount of organization for all my products that needed a home!

The rest of my makeup counter looks like this now:

Absolutly love my old test tube holder for my lip glosses and crayons!
Probably one of my favorite and most functional storage pieces!

When we picked out the knobs for our kitchen we had a couple left over and I got a great idea to use one in the attic to help stabilize my glitter hanger set up!

The products that I can't live without:
My beauty essentials {my holy grail if you will} since I was in middle school {yes that long!}:
Makeup: Covergirl Clean Foundation in "Buff Beige" & Pressed Powder in "Translucent Medium"
Perfume: Lucky You
Lotion: Jergens "Ulta Healing"

I have wanted the Coastal Scents Revealed2 palette since it came out,
when it went on sale for less than $20- I knew it was time!
The samples I've gotten from Coastal Scents are some of my favorites, I even had to pick up a large size of the "Brownstone" shadow from a sample quad I received {perfect crease color!}
I was excited to play with the Revealed2 palette!
& so far I LOVE IT! Maybe more than my Naked3?!

I also got the Pro Blending Fluff brush which I am really enjoying for blending,
I ordered a leopard Z Palette from ebay to house my new {& first!} single shadow, it will also be the new home for some other shadows I have been de-poting
{lets see how this goes} but I need magnets! Keep ya posted!

I was so excited to see that my local CVS is completely redoing their beauty section!
It is impressive!
I took home this Revlon quad in "Wild" I love the orange color but do need to play with it more,
I also got the Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks in "In love with Ginger" and "As You Want Victoria"
as recommended by Amy Lynn Thompson on YouTube
{I get lots of my makeup inspiration from the peeps I follow on You Tube}
I also picked up this Revlon hair dye in "Burgundy"- LOVING this color! Will purchase again!

As part of my CVS's renovation is the addition of a MUA {the CVS line of makeup!}
I am excited to try this line!
I did pick up two of the Milani "Bella" new eye shadows in "Bella Rose" "Bella Bronze",
these are nice, not my favorite but I like them.
This nail polish from NYC in "Fashion Safari" is AMAZING!
My favorite nude, in fact I am getting rid of my others because they can't compare!
BTW- CVS has the best beauty rewards- it is like free money! Use it all the time!

I also stopped by a RiteAid to scope out some Jessie's Girl products- specially this "lip transformer" in "Wicked" this is such a fun gloss that spices up any lip look!
I was also happy to find this Wet & Wild lipstick in "Mauve Outta Here".
I also picked up this Revlon Just Bitten in "Darling" during our trip to Saint Thomas,
I was PUMPED since I haven't been able to find it! It is an awesome light purple color!
Speaking of my trip to Saint Thomas,
in the JFK airport in NYC there was a MAC store!
I was so excited to play with the pretty things before our flight!

I took home the "Chatterbox" lipstick & I love it!
The only other MAC lipstick I own is "Candy Yum Yum" so it is a nice more wearable color!

Of course, like every month, I got my ipsy bag!
At first glance I was like EH.
I already have the Urban Decay Perversion mascara and don't enjoy it very much,
I just ran out of my Benefit "professional" so I was interested in trying a new pore minimizer product & honestly the Dr. Brandt one is BETTER than my Benefit one! I absolutly LOVE IT!
I was also not impressed by the J.Cat Beauty shadow in "Half Naked" but I have realized that it is really good to finish any look and lighten up the under eye area! Been using it daily!
The chapstick is just okay, along with the dry shampoo.

Since Urban Decay sent me a sample of the Perversion mascara and I was not that into it,
I went on ipsy to see if anyone wanted to trade for mine,
I was so excited to get an email offering to trade the Jessie's Girl black liner that I have heard amazing things about but haven't been able to find!
So far so good!

I was also really excited to receive an Influenster Vox Box!

My mini reviews:
I haven't used the burn cream {that may be a good thing} or the tampons yet,
The "bikini ready" gummies were NASTY!
I love softlips cube more than I love the EOS balm that I have!
I am also still playing with the Elizabeth Arden pearl gel moisturizer,
the real winner in this box was the PureLeaf Lemon Ice Tea-- It was SO GOOD! I will be purchasing!
*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

I also received my 4th PinchMe box,
I love all the Garnier products, the SinfulColors polish in "" is so pretty,
I have yet to try the American Crew shampoo, the Tom's deodorant is eh, I don't think it works for very long, & the coffee was nothing special...

I also logged on to PinchMe on Tuesday for the next samples,
but only was eligible for the Orchard Valley snack sample, not too exciting...
Also for this month's empties & reviews:
bath: Revlon Hair Dye in "Burgundy"- love this color, will use again! Crest 3D White toothpaste- a staple in our house. delights vanilla sugar body lotion- love the way this smells, was a gift from a coworker. Fiber Well gummies- I have to increase my fiber since I went to the hospital a year ago these grew on me but I am going back to the powder. Happy Hippy shower gel from Lush- I think the hubby enjoyed this more than I did {+ used too much} after our discussion about how much you put on the loofa it lasted a little longer, will repurchase! Matrix Biolage shampoo & conditioner- I like this stuff a lot especially the scent, I have a big bottle!

makeup: Victoria's Secret "Face Prime"- I don't think this does anything really, I am sticking with the Urban Decay setting spray and my Lush "Breath of Fresh Air" toner. Victoria's Secret "heavenly" perfume- I love this scent, will have to repurchase eventually. Jergens Natural Glow + Protect- used this a lot on vacation, can be streaky and can fade weird but I like it. Agave oil treatment- the best oil I have tried, doesn't leave a greasy finish, Garnier Fructis Marvelous Oil- sample from PinchMe, this stuff was nice but this sample was too small to determine if I would purchase it. Benefit Porefessional- love this stuff, currently loving the Dr. Brandt one from this month's ipsy. Olay Regenerist moisturizer- Target sent me this sample, it was very small but I enjoyed it. Stila "Stay All Day 10-in-one beauty balm"- used this on vacation as foundation for a less heavy make up look, it was nice, not sure if I would purchase. Kerastase "Nectar Thermique"- I like this for a leave in conditioner, I have another sample size so I can see if I continue to enjoy it.
Another month of my Humble Beauty Opinion!
Please let me know if there are any makeup products you think I should be trying!
