Another great program is ThredUp {click to save $10 on your first order!!}

With $$ in the account it made it easy to take home this The Webster for Target top for free!

tbt: the last time it was jacket weather, & when happy hour sushi was a thing.

It is once again light jacket weather in NJ.
But I do miss the days of happy hour sushi {this outfit was from a time where that still existed}

=(

What I Wore: glasses- Warby Parker Midnight Blue Sinclairs , jacket- GAP, top- thrifted, pants- Old Navy, flats- Target

Seriously, for $3 a roll?!
It was soooooo good,
maybe too good to be true- I guess that is why they went out of business.

Even though the note on the door says, "fixing kitchen"
for 6 months?!
I don't think you exist anymore happy hour sushi...

Wedding Wed: honeymoon adventures Alaska Day 1

We arrived in Alaska at midnight for after a whole day of traveling,
We were exhausted, checked into Alyeska Resort & found this:
No that is not a mirrored image- they put us in a room with double beds.
On the first night of our honeymoon.

Yes, this was fixed for night #2.
But we had especially paid for the top or "summit" floor
& were downgraded for a king bed two floors down.
but you know, priorities...

Our first view was amazing!

We had a great view of the lift that takes you to the top of the peak & to the Seven Glaciers restaurant {amazing! Ate there night 1- details on next week's wedding wednesday!}

We also ordered room service for breakfast- my first time having breakfast in bed & room service!

The hotel was so pretty!

We got ready and went for an amazing walk in "Winner Creek"!

I was so proud of my packing skills,
perfect amount of layers {& patterns}

What I Wore: glasses- Steve Madden, fur- Michael Kors, sweater- New York & Co. {thrifted}, top- thrifted from Mary's Secret Wardrobe in Belmar, NJ, jeans- Levis, boots- Target

Still rocking my Essie "Bachelorette Bash" nails with my new wedding ring =)

We hopped in the car & took a drive to town,
& yes we did sing part of our wedding song while riding in the car,
"You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile"

stopped & shopped at a little Jade shop on the way!

We went under the bridge in the little town of Girdwood,

& found one of the coolest things!
Wild salmon!

This spot was one of the prettiest places I have ever seen!

Take me back!
But wait until July- I don't do winter very well & Alaska is pretty serious about the whole winter thing.

I hate Mondays.

because I am the worlds worse procrastinator.

But it was made much better with a very special delivery of my new monogram from BaubleBar!

So excited!
My new initials!
With my Mrs. Kate Spade necklace from my sister & my wish necklace from our honeymoon =)
Mani Monday: Revlon Moon Candy- 230 Satellite

What I Wore: glasses- Love c/o Coastal, top- RHvintage, pants- Talbots, belt- Black and Tan Leather {store in Alaska} boots- Steve Madden

Perfect way to take these ankle pants into fall with some boots!

apparently it is the first day of fall: that means plaid

Mums are out,
halloween candy is stocked.

Seriously between yesterday and today there is a new chill in the air,
and I have just noticed the leaves changing around us...
fall is here.

Made better by the fact that I can now wear plaid all day every day.
& that there will be pumpkin soft serve at our local ice cream shop...

So I did a little fall shopping yesterday to prepare for "Sweater Weather"
{P.S. have you heard the "Sweater Weather" song from The Neighbourhood? It is my jam right now}

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Proopticals, top- H&M {thrifted}, jeans- Levis {thrifted}, shoes- ShoeDazzle, bag- 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target mini satchel with gusset in yellow

I got sucked into the vortex that is Old Navy this weekend.
So.Much.Cute.Stuff!

First there were these flats!
I fell in love with the tan ones,
they reminded me so much of Loeffler Randall- Natalie Polka Dot flats, but with a price tag of $23 not $230!
It took everything in me not to buy all three colors!
But I did also pick up the grey ones for my sister!

Speaking of dupes,
the pattern on these flats reminded me of the new loafers from Ann Taylor
but for a fraction of the price!

I also fell in love with this fox with glasses sweater!
I tried to talk myself out of it but was unsuccessful

& Since the tops at Old Navy are currently buy one get one 50% off I went on the hunt for the other score for my fall wardrobe.
This sequin shoulder number was the perfect other half, but with one problem-
the mannequin was the only one I could find in the whole store.

I enlisted help and he went to town taking the sweater off the mannequin,
which included removing her arms.
But it was my size & I love it.
It was all worth it

You will be seeing this fox sweater & polka dot flats in an outfit post very soon,
too perfect together!
I also took home a pair of white shorts & black & white shorts for just $8 a pair!
Now is the time to prep for spring {wishful thinking I know}
but those will also be perfect for next summer!

I also fell in love with this porcupine/hedgehog ring!
{Say hello to my perfect fall mani- Revlon Moon Candy- 230 Satellite- saw it on Elle Sees instagram & I needed it- looks like fall leaves!}

On the check out line I also found this Hello Kitty iPhone case & new pencil case!
I did purchase a Hello Kitty case already for my new phone {see post here} but it was HUGE,
& left all my pictures with a strange white border.
Was not working for me.
So I was happy to find this perfectly nerdy version!

Before I left the mall,
I had to spend my $10 birthday card from Victoria Secret!
I have wanted this polish {called "Start the Party"} for a little while now,
the woman was like, "Polishes are 1 for $10 or 2 for $15- you are going to spend $10 on 1?"
I said, "Yup, that is all I want."
but in reality I was thinking, "Girl I am not paying anything this is my birthday present!"
Perfect black glitter for fall/holiday season!
One of my best kept secrets- even though you might have figured it out for yourself-
when Victoria's Secret sends you $10 off a purchase- its like $10 free dollars!
Pick up some perfume, free makeup, or polish!

My favorites!

What are you excited for with the arrival of fall?
